First time customer, wish I had read the reviews first! I ordered a lot as I was starting a new job. I sent back about £140 worth of clothes and received the email to say refund would be with me 5-7 days. Seemed as straightforward as any other company but it’s now over 14 days, I’ve contacted to be told someone will respond by email to find out what’s happening but I can see from recent reviews this is most likely half the time I’ll wait for it!

Absolutely disgusted
Absolutely disgusted with the customer service from Evans. I ordered £200 of clothes using a discount code of £5 off £50, I returned £100 of clothes therefore spending £100 but while Evans have been processing the return, they’ve also took off half of the £5 discount even though I’ve spent £100. It’s only a couple of pounds but the principle of what they have done is appalling. Effectively Evans have now stolen money from me and if I hadn’t took the labels out of the £100 worth of clothes that I bought then I would have sent the lot back. So I can get £5 off £50 order but only £2.50 off a £100 order, makes such a lot of sense! I really wouldn’t advise buying from this shop if you don’t want to be ripped off. The live chat trying to sort this was more than useless and by the end, still couldn’t understand why I was frustrated. Absolute disgrace and don’t deserve my hard earned cash.

Returned 4 items on the 29th June 2022. As I live in Northern Ireland I was told I had to use DHL Express! There was not an option for that so had to use DHL UK. I had to take my parcel to a store seven miles away which used this service. On tracking my parcel it is still sitting in the shop where I left it a week ago and the delivery date back to the retailer changes every day. Why did I have to use this service when my parcel was delivered by Evri. I am going to the shop tomorrow to see why my parcel is still sitting in the shop. I have had an account with Evans for over 25 years. Sad to say I will be not using them again

Ghosted by Evans.
I am so disappointed with Evans.
Firstly I ordered 2 sizes too big, my fault, but they did say to ‘size up’ on the jacket so I thought I’d size up 2.
Huge, so I completed a return online for Evri (worst ever courier).
Evans ‘chat’ said they don’t collect from we’re I live even though I said they did previously...and they do!
However, I sent Royal Mail signed for on 9th JUNE.
I received a £20 voucher apologizing for giving me wrong information.
After me sending several emails I received an email saying ‘warehouse asks for a few more days’ and will contact me in a few days, that was 22 June and Nothing.
Cost was £44.
Being ghosted by a reputable company is disgraceful customer service.

Do not buy from evans
After an issue with the courier chosen by evans, two orders I had made in mid-May were not delivered. I contacted their customer service team online a couple of weeks later, and had it confirmed they were expecting my orders to be returned, at which point a refund for the orders would be processed. After two further weeks of waiting, I contacted their customer service team again, and was told they would investigate the situation. I was emailed a few days after but only offered to be re-supplied or given a gift voucher. After reminding them I had been offered a refund and I am well within my rights to be refunded for their couriers failure to deliver my order which they were fully aware of, they stopped emailing me. It is so frustrating that they aren't taking responsibility for their failure on this occasion. I had had a good experience with them before but I feel scammed by this situation.

I would give 0 stars but it doesn't offer that option. I ordered shoes on express delivery, it didn't state what day I would receive the delivery until the day it was being delivered. Hermes delivered it to the wrong house, as per Evans I had to do a full search of my neighbors houses, after emails that were ignored I finally had an email from a chap who said I had to fill out the form which basically says I "denied" the delivery. they will not refund me without filling out a form. I have now located the shoes (after 4 days of searching) still no refund on the delivery charge. Dont use this company. Here is the form

· I can confirm that I have checked with those within my household & neighbours who may have signed or received the goods & the parcel has not been received.
· I have fully checked around my property and have not located the parcel
· I will inform you immediately if it arrives.
· I agree to co-operate with Hermes Loss Prevention &/or the Police in the event of any investigation into the missing items.
· I confirm this declaration is true & accurate in all respects.
· I understand by making a false statement could lead to prosecution

So..... Since writing the review on here, they now have asked for more information. All information was given in the first instance, which they ignored.

Placed an order today and paid express…
Placed an order today and paid express service because I would like goods asap, got an email saying orders may take a little longer due to extra social distancing - tried to enquire and no idea when I will get them, please in future do not take peoples money for express delivery when you can’t fulfil it. I have tried to cancel this order which is in fulfilment not even dispatched and told I can’t, why you haven’t dispatched it yet. Really regret using Evans

Very happy customer. Well done Evans.
I ordered £345 worth of goods, and I'm happy to say they arrived 2 days later, by DPD courier. So nice that Evans use a reputable courier service, unlike some. *Shoeaholics.com take note!*
The items are all of good quality and just as expected of Evans.
I'm surprised at the bad reviews on here and I was a little unsure if I should order because of the number of negative reviews, but I'm very satisfied with my goods.
I've shopped with Evans previously, but not online. I had no problems with ordering, delivery, or quality of the goods.
I shall definitely order again, especially knowing that Evans use a professional courier service.

Avoid this company Evans !!
Avoid this company ! I have been waiting for a refund for nearly three months . They actually can't find it now . One lady said yes I can see you sent back and return was generated. I also had my slip . After many emails I am now being ignored which is shocking customer service. Evans owes me £75 . All this is very frustrating and upsetting . I will be writing to the ceo saying how awful this had been handled. I just want my money back please

Do not order unless you are absolutely sure you will keep the items !
Returned items after days of trying to get a returns label as your website didn't recognise your own order number. I returned 2 items 2 weeks ago, account has not been updated and response from customer services was they would investigate and get back to me. They haven't sent another e mail which has been ignored. You do realise you are breaking the law by not refunding within the legislated time frame ? Take this as a formal complaint. If my refund is not processed within the next 7 days I will start legal proceedings against you and you will also be liable for costs.

I'm a new customer at Evans and I adore…
I'm a new customer at Evans and I adore their clothes first of all. I've ordered a number of times since I have found them. The clothes are comfortable and easy to wear and there are tons of options. I sent back two items and it went very smoothly and I received my refund very quickly. I am a happy customer.

My advice is don't shop with evans unless your prepared to wait at least a month for a refund.If you complain you'll get no where.They just say its being reviewed.
This isn't the first time as gave them the benefit if the doubt but will be the last.Really poor service
